Bees to Flowers

Inspired by Barbra and Harold Carey, "Bees to Flowers" honors the life they lived and continue to live. As the sun rises over the hood canal, a steady flow of water gives life to the land. The flowers grow tall from the sun and water creating a bee's sanctuary for pollination. As the flower symbolizes Barbra and the bee symbolizes Harold, Barbra gives purpose to Harold and Harold gives life to Barbra. The symbiotic love they share gives color to our world, like the colorful memories we share of them. May we be reminded of how tall we can grow like the flower and how we can spread change like the bee.
